Facing south at an altitude of 1200m on the GR5 marked pathway and the baroque trail, Valezan is a good starting point for hikes, snow shoeing or ski touring; the cross-country ski trails of the Côte d'Aime are 10mn away. You can spend calm and restful holidays here, while at the same time being very close to the Tarentaise ski resorts (La Plagne, Les Arcs, La Rosière, Tignes and Val d'Isère) and all the winter and summer activities that they offer. Located 4.5 miles from Aime and 6 miles from Bourg Saint-Maurice, you will be able to take advantage of all the summer and winter activities organized in Tarentaise (hiking, rafting, climbing, canyoning, paragliding, mountain-biking, canoeing, skiing etc…). Accomodation is available in the auberge/restaurant : in addition to meals, you will be able to find a small grocery shop with local products and a bread deposit (book the day before…PLEASE!). There are all the shops and services you will need in Aime and Bourg Saint-Maurice. The view is wonderful here : It's an incredible panorama that goes from the Col du Petit Saint Bernard to the Col de la Madeleine.
